Joe & Charlie were married at Stanford Farm, a countryside wedding venue set in the rolling Shropshire landscape near Shrewsbury. Rural venues like this are made for Super 8 — the soft natural light, the open fields and the relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere all come alive on real film in a way digital never quite manages.
We shot their day on authentic 8mm Kodak film, choosing our moments carefully rather than filming everything: the quiet glances during the ceremony, the laughter over drinks, the confetti and the first dance. The result is a warm, grainy, gently glowing film that feels less like watching a video and more like remembering the day itself.
